Dub your videos, in the speaker's own voice

QuickVeed transcribes the speech, translates every line to fit its time, speaks it in the original speaker's cloned voice or a stock voice, and mixes it over the music and sound effects. You get a new MP4 and matching subtitles.

In shortWhat is QuickVeed's AI Video Dubbing?

QuickVeed's dubbing tool takes a video of up to 10 minutes, transcribes it with OpenAI's whisper-1, and can separate the voice from the music with Demucs. You can fix the transcript, then dub into any language: each line is translated to fit its original time, spoken in the speaker's cloned voice (Chatterbox Multilingual, 23 languages) or an OpenAI stock voice (32 languages), sped up slightly or shortened if it runs long, and mixed over the background. Preparing costs 9 credits a minute with the music kept (2 for voice-over style), and each language costs 30 credits a minute in the speaker's voice or 5 with a stock voice, plus translation billed by AI usage.

How it works

Done in 3 steps

  1. Prepare the video

Pick a video from your library. QuickVeed transcribes the speech and, if you like, separates the voice from the music and sound effects.

  2. Check the transcript

Fix names, brands and misheard words. Every dub you make uses this text.

  3. Dub it

Choose a language and the speaker's own voice or a stock voice. The new video is saved to your library, with SRT and VTT subtitles of the dubbed lines.

Features

What you get with AI Video Dubbing

The speaker's own voice

A short sample of the original speech clones the voice, so the dub sounds like the same person, in 23 languages.

Timing that fits

Each line is translated to fit the time it had. Long lines are sped up a little or rewritten shorter, never squeezed into a rush.

Music and effects kept

AI separates the voice from the background so the music and sound effects play under the new voice. Or keep the original quietly underneath, voice-over style.

Edit before you dub

Correct the transcript first so names, products and numbers come out right in every language.

MP4 and subtitles

The dubbed video keeps the original picture untouched, and you can download the dubbed lines as SRT or VTT.

Pay for the real length

Prices are per started minute of video, shown before you start, and refunded if a step fails.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does dubbing cost?
Preparing a video costs 9 credits a minute with the music separated and kept, or 1.5 a minute (2 for a 1-minute video) voice-over style. Each language then costs 30 credits a minute in the speaker's own voice or 5 a minute with a stock voice, plus translation billed by AI usage. Minutes are rounded up for the whole video.
Does the dub sound like the original speaker?
With the speaker's own voice selected, yes: a sample of up to 12 seconds of their speech is used to clone the voice. It works in 23 languages. Stock voices are available in all 32.
What happens to the music and sound effects?
If you keep them, AI separates the voice from the rest of the audio and the new voice is mixed over the music and effects. Voice-over style keeps the original audio quietly under the new voice instead.
What if a translation is longer than the original?
Each line is translated to fit its time. If the spoken line still runs long, it's sped up by up to 30% and, if that isn't enough, rewritten shorter and spoken again.
Can it dub videos with several speakers?
Not separately yet. The whole video is dubbed in one cloned voice, or one stock voice.
Are the lips re-synced?
No. The picture is kept exactly as it is and only the audio is replaced.
