Transcribe
- In the sidebar, click Captions & Subtitles.
- Click Upload a video, or pick one from your library.
- Choose a Caption style and a position (Bottom, Middle or Top).
- Leave Make the captioned video when it's ready ticked if you want a video with captions drawn on straight away. Untick it if you only need subtitle files, or want to edit first.
- Click Transcribe.
Transcribing takes about a minute per 10 minutes of video. The project appears under Your subtitles.
Edit
Open the project and use the Edit tab. Click a time to jump there in the video, fix any line, then click Save changes. Saving clears translations made from the old text, so edit before you translate.
Translate
On the Translate tab, tick up to 5 languages at a time and click Translate. Each line keeps its timing. Translation is billed by AI use, usually a credit or two per language.
Download subtitle files
On the Download tab, each language has SRT, VTT and TXT buttons. Upload SRT or VTT files to YouTube, LinkedIn and most video players.
Burn captions in
On the Burn in tab, choose a Style, the Languages and a position, then click Burn in. You get one copy of the video per language, with your edits and translations used exactly as written. Each copy is saved to your library and appears as Video on the Download tab. The tab shows the price and the longest video it takes.
