Podcast to Clips reads the whole transcript of a long video and suggests the moments that work on their own as short clips, each between 15 and 90 seconds.
Start a project
- In the sidebar, click Podcast to Clips.
- Click Upload a video, or pick one under Or pick from your library.
- Optionally, fill in what should the clips be about? to steer the picks, for example pricing tips or stories about hiring.
- Choose how many clips to look for (3 to 10).
- Click Find clips.
The project appears under Your projects. Its badge goes from transcribing to finding clips to ready. You can leave the page while it works.
Review the picks
Open the project. Each clip shows its start and end time, a title, a hook line, the reason it was picked and a score: how likely the AI thinks it is to do well. Play a clip right on its card.
Not what you wanted? Type a new direction in the box at the top and click Find different clips.
Make the clips
Finding clips only suggests them. To get a video file, click Make clip on a clip, or set the options under Apply to all clips and click Make all. Each button shows its credit price. A clip takes about a minute.
Before you make a clip, you can change its shape, framing, captions and more. See Customize a clip.
Transcribing is charged by the length of the video; the price is shown on the page before you start. If a job fails, its credits are refunded.
