Get started with QuickVeed

From sign-up to your first finished clip: create your account, upload a video, find clips and download one.

Updated October 19, 2026

This guide takes you from a new account to a finished, captioned clip you can post. It takes about ten minutes plus upload time, and it fits inside the free trial.

1. Create your account

Go to quickveed.com/signup. Enter your Work email, a Password and Confirm password, tick the box to agree to the terms, and click Create account. You can also click Sign up with Google.

If you signed up with email, we send you an activation link. Click it to confirm your address. Your 14-day trial and 75 credits start when you confirm. No card is needed.

No email after a few minutes? Check your spam or promotions folder, or click Send a new link on the confirmation page.

2. Open your dashboard

Sign in and you land on your dashboard. At the top is the Get started checklist. Each step ticks itself off once you've done it, so you can follow it from here.

3. Upload a video

Pick a long video with people talking: a podcast, a webinar, an interview or a talk. In the sidebar, click Podcast to Clips, then click Upload a video (or drop the file on it). MP4 and MOV work best.

The upload runs in a tray in the bottom corner. You can keep working while it uploads. When it's done, the video appears under Or pick from your library, already selected.

4. Find clips

Optionally, type what the clips should be about, such as pricing tips, and choose how many clips you want. Click Find clips. QuickVeed transcribes the video and picks the moments that stand on their own. This takes a few minutes for a long video. You can leave the page and come back.

5. Make and download a clip

Open the project from Your projects. Each suggested clip shows a score, a title and why it was picked. Play it, then click Make clip. The button shows the credit price before you click. About a minute later, click Download to save the MP4.

Every finished clip is also saved to your library under Assets.
