Questions about the Webcam Recorder

How do I record a video with my webcam online?
Click Start recording, allow the camera and microphone, and talk after the countdown. Click Stop, check the playback and click Download.
Why is my video mirrored?
Only the preview is mirrored, like a mirror, so it feels natural. The saved video is the right way round. Untick Mirror the preview to see it unflipped.
The browser says the camera is busy. What do I do?
Another app such as Zoom, Teams or FaceTime is using it. Close that app, then click Turn on camera again.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, in Safari on iPhone and Chrome on Android. For screen capture on a phone, use the phone's own screen recorder.
Is my video uploaded?
No. It's recorded and kept in your browser until you download it.
