ElevenLabs has seven plans: Free (10,000 credits a month), Starter ($6, 30,000 credits), Creator ($22, 121,000), Pro ($99, 600,000), Scale ($299, 1.8 million), Business ($990, 6 million) and Enterprise (custom). The pricing page puts 1,000 credits at about one minute of text to speech, so Starter is about 30 minutes of speech a month. Yearly billing costs 10 times the monthly price.

Dubbing is priced differently: 2,000 to 10,000 credits per minute depending on the mode and the watermark, so the same plan buys far fewer dubbed minutes than spoken ones. This guide turns both into dollars. All figures are from the ElevenLabs pricing page on 26 October 2026; for other voice and dubbing tools, see the AI video, avatars and dubbing guides.
The short answer
ElevenLabs Free is $0 for 10,000 credits a month (about 10 minutes of speech, no commercial license listed). Starter is $6 for 30,000 credits (about 30 minutes), Creator $22 for 121,000, Pro $99 for 600,000, Scale $299, Business $990. Automatic dubbing without a watermark uses 3,000 credits a minute, so Starter covers about 10 dubbed minutes.
Key takeaways
- Text to speech is roughly 1,000 credits a minute; the extra-minute price falls from about $0.36 on Free to $0.17 on Pro and up.
- Dubbing uses 2,000 to 10,000 credits a minute: automatic or Dubbing Studio, with or without a watermark.
- Starter adds the commercial license, instant voice cloning and Dubbing Studio; Creator adds professional cloning and 192 kbps audio.
- Unused credits on paid plans roll over for up to two months (up to twice the monthly quota).
- Starter and Creator showed first-month discounts ($1 and $11) in October 2026; the regular prices are $6 and $22.

How much does ElevenLabs dubbing cost?
ElevenLabs' FAQ prices dubbing per minute in credits: 2,000 for automatic dubbing with a watermark, 3,000 without, 5,000 in Dubbing Studio with a watermark and 10,000 in Dubbing Studio without. Dubbing Studio, the editor where you fix lines and timing, starts on Starter. Turned into minutes and dollars:
| Plan | Automatic, no watermark (3,000/min) | Dubbing Studio, no watermark (10,000/min) | Cost per automatic minute |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter ($6) | About 10 minutes | 3 minutes | About $0.60 |
| Creator ($22) | About 40 minutes | About 12 minutes | About $0.55 |
| Pro ($99) | 200 minutes | 60 minutes | About $0.50 |
| Scale ($299) | 600 minutes | 180 minutes | About $0.50 |
The page doesn't set separate dubbing limits per plan: dubbing and speech come out of the same credits. A 10-minute video dubbed into three languages in Dubbing Studio is 300,000 credits, half a month of Pro. How to dub a video explains the steps, and video dubbing cost compares tools.
Is ElevenLabs free?
Yes. The free plan gives 10,000 credits a month, about 10 minutes of speech, with text to speech, speech to text, sound effects, voice design, music and 3 Studio projects. What the card doesn't list is a commercial license or Dubbing Studio, which Starter adds, so treat Free as a way to test voices. Free credits don't roll over.
Do ElevenLabs credits roll over?
On paid plans, yes, for up to two months: unused credits carry over up to twice the monthly quota. Top-up credits bought pay-as-you-go are separate and not part of that cap. That makes a plan sized for your average month safer than with tools whose credits expire every month.
When is another route cheaper?
For speech alone, ElevenLabs' own plans are hard to beat: about $0.20 a minute on Starter. QuickVeed's AI voice generator runs ElevenLabs v3 at 25 credits per 1,000 characters (about $0.45 for a 1,000-character minute on our Starter plan), so it's not the cheaper way to buy the same voice. It makes sense when the voice is one step of a video job, since the same credits pay for captions, avatars and clips.
For dubbing, the gap reverses. QuickVeed's AI dubbing costs 5 credits a minute per language with a stock voice, plus about 1.5 credits a minute to prepare the video voice-over style (9 if you keep the music) and a little for translation: well under $0.20 a minute. A cloned voice is 30 credits a minute. Cloned-voice dubbing and music separation run on third-party GPU models, so try them on a short clip before you plan a whole project around them; the stock-voice route doesn't depend on them. QuickVeed doesn't re-sync lips and dubs up to 10 minutes per video, where ElevenLabs Dubbing Studio gives far more control.
For more voice options, see ElevenLabs alternatives and how to clone your own voice. QuickVeed plans are $18 a month for 1,000 credits (Starter), $42 for 2,500 (Boost) and $114 for 6,000 (Scale), and a new account gets a 14-day trial with 250 credits, no card needed. That makes a credit worth about 1.7 to 1.9 cents.
