The main Rask AI alternatives in 2026 are HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Vozo, Kapwing, Descript and QuickVeed. They all translate a video's speech and replace the voice, but they differ in price per minute, how many languages they cover, whether they clone the speaker's voice, and whether they re-sync the lips.

Rask AI is still a capable dubbing tool, so this guide starts with what it offers. Prices are from each vendor's pricing page on 25 October 2026; they change often, so check before you buy.

What does Rask AI offer?
Rask AI translates and dubs video with voice cloning, and adds lip sync on higher plans. Its pricing page, checked 25 October 2026, lists:
| Rask AI plan | Monthly | Billed yearly | Minutes | Per minute (monthly) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free trial | $0 | — | 3 minutes | — |
| Creator | $39/mo | $28/mo ($329/yr) | 25 a month | $1.56 |

| Business | $249/mo | $167/mo ($1,999/yr) | 250 a month | $1.00 |
The page lists dubbing into 135+ languages and voice cloning in 32, with lip sync named on Creator Pro. Rask is a solid choice if you need a long tail of languages. People look elsewhere for a lower price per minute, more minutes on the entry plan, lip sync without the $99 tier, or dubbing inside a tool they already use.

The alternatives, one by one
HeyGen
HeyGen is best known for AI avatars, and its video translation is a core feature. Its pricing page lists a free plan (3 videos a month up to 1 minute, with a watermark, over 30 languages), Creator at $29/mo ($24 yearly) with videos up to 30 minutes in 175 languages and dialects, Pro at $49 and Business at $149 plus $20 a seat. Pro adds proofreading of translated scripts. A good fit if you also make avatar videos; our HeyGen alternatives guide covers it in more depth.
ElevenLabs
ElevenLabs is a voice company first: its dubbing builds on its voice library and cloning. Plans are credit-based, with Instant Voice Cloning on Starter and Professional Voice Cloning on Creator, and dubbing billed in credits per minute. The plan list showed first-month discounts when we checked, so see the pricing page for current figures. Choose it when voice quality and fine control matter more than an all-in-one video workflow. Vozo
Vozo focuses on translation and lip sync. Its pricing page lists a free plan with about 6 dubbing minutes and 2 lip-sync minutes, Creator at $29/mo with about 50 dubbing, 15 lip-sync and 15 visual-translate minutes and watermark removal, and Studio at $99/mo with about 200 dubbing minutes. It lists 165 target languages, lip sync on every plan and voice cloning from Creator.
Kapwing
Kapwing is a browser video editor that includes dubbing. Pro is listed at $16 with up to 50 dubbing minutes a month in 40+ languages, alongside 1,000 subtitle minutes; Business at $50 raises dubbing to 200 minutes and adds custom voice clones and lip sync. Good if you already edit there and dub occasionally.
Descript
Descript lists dubbing in 30 languages and captions in 61 on its paid plans: Hobbyist at $24 monthly or $16/mo yearly, Creator at $35 or $24, Business at $65 or $50 with translation proofreading. It makes sense when you edit by transcript in Descript and want dubbed versions from the same project.
QuickVeed
QuickVeed is the tool we make. Its AI dubbing tool takes videos up to 10 minutes, transcribes them, lets you fix the transcript, then translates each line to fit its original time and speaks it in one of 11 stock voices in 32 languages, or in the speaker's cloned voice in 23. The original audio can be kept quietly underneath (voice-over style) or, with music separation, the new voice is mixed over the music and effects. You get an MP4 plus SRT and VTT of the dubbed lines.
Costs: preparing a video is 1.5 credits a minute voice-over style (2 for 1 minute) or 9 with the music separated; each language is then 5 credits a minute with a stock voice or 30 with the cloned voice, plus translation billed by AI usage. A 5-minute video dubbed voice-over style with a stock voice is about 8 + 25 = 33 credits. Where it falls short of Rask: no lip sync, one voice per video (no separate speakers), a 10-minute maximum, and 32 languages rather than 135+. It's also new, with no independent reviews yet.
How much does dubbing cost per minute?
Monthly plan prices hide very different per-minute costs. On the entry plans, at monthly billing:
| Tool and plan | Price | Dubbing minutes included | Approx. per minute |
|---|---|---|---|
| Rask AI Creator | $39/mo | 25 | $1.56 |
| Vozo Creator | $29/mo | ~50 | ~$0.58 |
| Kapwing Pro | $16 | up to 50 | ~$0.32 at full use |
| QuickVeed Starter, stock voice | $18/mo, 1,000 credits | ~150 if used for dubbing only* | ~$0.12 |
| QuickVeed Starter, cloned voice | $18/mo, 1,000 credits | ~25* | ~$0.70 |
* QuickVeed credits are shared across all tools. Stock voice, voice-over style: 1.5 + 5 = 6.5 credits a minute, about 153 minutes from 1,000 credits, before translation usage; cloned voice with music kept: 9 + 30 = 39 credits a minute, about 25 minutes. HeyGen, ElevenLabs and Descript don't price dubbing per minute on the plan cards, so they're left out of this table. Dubbing costs in general are covered in how much video dubbing costs.
Which Rask AI alternative should you pick?
- You need many languages, or lip sync from one vendor you already know: stay with Rask AI.
- You also make avatar videos: HeyGen.
- Voice quality and control come first: ElevenLabs.
- Lip sync on a smaller budget: Vozo.
- You edit in Kapwing or Descript already: use its built-in dubbing.
- Short videos in common languages at the lowest cost per minute, no lip sync needed: QuickVeed.
Before you pay for any of them, dub the same 1-minute clip in two tools and compare timing, pronunciation of names and how the music sounds underneath. The full process is in how to dub a video into another language, and AI dubbing vs subtitles helps decide whether you need a dub at all.
